In continuation of its impactful engagement series, the Kaduna AGILE Project convened yet another town hall meeting Today the 20th of December, 2023 in Kafanchan. The gathering served as a focal point for an assembly of influential Traditional and Religious Leaders, marking another chapter in the project’s commitment to fostering collaborative development.

The distinguished assembly was honoured by the esteemed presence of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Jama’a Alhaji (Dr.) Muhammadu Isa Muhammadu, OFR, CON, His Royal Highness, Sarkin Gwantu, Alhaji Balarabe Abdullahi Karma, and His Royal Highness, Agon Atyap represented by Mr. Philips Aboi Zaki, Sarkin Fadan Atyap among other revered dignitaries. Notable attendees included Religious Leaders, Community Leaders drawn from Jema’a, Jaba, Zangon Kataf, Kachia, Kagarko, Kaura, Kauru and Sanga Local Government Areas of Kaduna State. Other participants include an assortment of essential stakeholders deeply invested in the development of Kaduna State led by Dr. Haliru Musa Soba, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Kaduna State.

During the session, an atmosphere of dialogue and constructive discourse prevailed. The leaders, particularly the Religious Clerics, actively participated by raising pivotal questions, request for clarifications and recommendations on the activities of the AGILE Project in Kaduna State. Apostle Ben Ayuba appreciated the AGILE Project and called on the project to continue the giant strides of activities. The Chief Imam of Jama’a Emirate Muhammad Kabir Qasim asked questions about the project’s sustainability plan, the training manual and possible integration of religious and moral education into consideration. Responding with fervour, the Project team reiterated the project’s commitment to adaptability, encouraging the leaders to explore the manual provided and contribute valuable insights for its refinement and effective implementation.

The Emir of Jama’a in his remarks pledges support for the project and also appreciated the developmental strides and infrastructural overhaul being witness across secondary schools courtesy of the AGILE Project.

Today’s event in Kafanchan echoed the collaborative spirit and dedication to inclusive development that has become emblematic of the Kaduna AGILE Project. As the project forges ahead, it remains resolute in its pursuit of leveraging diverse perspectives and fostering dynamic approaches to empower communities and drive sustainable progress.

With this engagement, the Kaduna AGILE team reaffirms its commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships and continues its journey towards holistic development of secondary education in alignment with the SUSTAIN agenda of The Governor of Kaduna State Senator Uba Sani led administration in Kaduna State.
