Barely a month after the successful killing of bandits’ warlord terrorising Kaduna and Niger States — Boderi Isyaku, Governor Uba Sani has summoned another emergency security meeting with stakeholders to review strategy on how to degrade the bandits.

The Governor told the stakeholders from Birnin Gwari, Chikun, Giwa, Igabi, Kachia, and Kagarko, LGAs, including monarchs, that Kaduna’s situation is extraordinary, requiring sacrifice and cooperation.

Senator Uba Sani said the emergency meeting was to also “assess our intelligence-gathering and sharing efforts and take decisive steps to degrade terrorists destroying lives and livelihoods.”
The meeting deliberated and took a bold stance on informants at the local level. “We must identify them(informants) decisively. Traditional rulers, religious leaders, local government chairmen, and other stakeholders have key roles to play in assisting security agencies with intelligence, “the Governor said.
The governor also said, “all hands must be on deck to root out the bad elements in our communities.”
He revealed that the emergency meeting was necessitated by the escalation of attacks by terror groups.
“Since the Kuriga school children abduction, I have been working round the clock, and pulling out all the stops, across all layers of government and security architecture, ro ensure their safe return and mist crucially ro see that this terrible menace is contained.
“I am in constant touch with parents of the abducted children and leaders of the Kuriga community. They are in high spirits, confident that our efforts will be successful, “the governor revealed.
He hailed President Tinubu for leaving no stone unturned in the effort to reunite the school children with their loved ones and return normalcy to the area.

“Our dear President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, is leaving no stone unturned to bring back the school children and stabilise the security situation in Kaduna State. We thank His Excellency for his exemplary show of support and empathy, “Senator Uba Sani said.
