As part of the activities to celebrate his first year in office, Governor Uba Sani has arrived at Rigachikun to officially commission the newly constructed Senior Secondary School, Nasarawa Rigachikun, located in the Igabi Local Government Area.
Over the past year, Governor Sani’s administration has been dedicated to improving the educational landscape by upgrading school infrastructure, enhancing teacher training, and providing essential learning resources.
Key achievements in the education sector under Governor Uba Sani’s leadership include:
1. Construction of 2,326 new classrooms across the state’s 23 local government areas.
2. Renovation of 707 additional classrooms.
3. Distribution of over 34,000 pieces of furniture for pupils and teachers.
4. Implementation of reduced tuition fees in all state-run higher education institutions.
