Greetings to His Excellency. I write in appreciation of your good and encompassing leadership style, and good work on quality governance in Enugu State that is cutting across all nooks and crannies of the South East Central State.
We the people of Eke, and Udi North are so happy for your visit on Tuesday 29th October 2024 to flag-off the road construction project that pass through Ama-Brewery to Ezeagu (Oghe and Olo) road, cutting across the exit of Eke Town.
Your Excellency we appreciate you so much for your marvelous work of good and effective governance. We say with loud voice, may your reign in the seat of Government be long.
On the same note of gratitude, we the people of Udi North: Eke, Egede, Affah, Akpakwume, Nze continue to cry out to you Your Excellency to please extend your magnanimity in leadership and nobility to us. We are in big trouble Sir for loss of lives and properties. Our people continue to experience incessant kidnapping and robbery operations from enemies of humanity. That road, being the major road that cut through Udi north is in bad state and in dire need of rehabilitation. It’s such an important regional access way that enhances easy movement of goods and services for commercial reasons from the North Central to the South East state of Enugu and beyond. Farmers from extreme Towns of Udi North make use of the road day by day to and fro in transporting some of their farm produce to Enugu for sale, and they continue to risk their lives accessing the dilapidated road which has been a den of kidnapping in the state, the main reasons being that because of bad state of the road, it slows down vehicular movement, therefore making travelers vulnerable to be ambushed and kidnapped. The neighborhood watch of the Neighboring Towns continue to do their best to challenge these kidnappers, but the bad state of the road remains a hindrance to security network. Reconstruction of the road will make way for free flow of movement and put to end the criminal activities successfully going on in the road.
We humbly appeal to your conscience Your Excellency to look upon us with mercy, and come to our rescue both for security and commercial purposes. A gesture we will forever live to remember, and pledge our unending support and reverence to you. With faith and hope, we strongly believed that 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙏𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙬 𝙄𝙨 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚, and will continue to be here.
