𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙇𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙏𝙤 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝘿𝙧. 𝙋𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙉𝙙𝙪𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙨𝙞 𝙈𝙗𝙖𝙝, 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙣𝙪𝙜𝙪 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚:
Greetings His Excellency. I write to you with heart full of joy for the great work you are doing in Enugu State, with a clear vision of economic, social and structural transformation etc.
To Be honest, even as an APC member I was convinced and have confidence in you when I perused through your manifesto, during the fervent election period, just toward the ballot time in late 2022, I saw a well structured agenda. I was compelled to have the believe that you are grounded in leadership as the incoming Governor of the State, and to the Glory of God 𝙏𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙬 i𝙨 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚.
His Excellency I am an Indigene of Eke Kingdom, the Great Town of one time 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙛 𝙊𝙣𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙖 𝙉𝙬𝙖 𝙊𝙣𝙬𝙪𝙨𝙞 𝙉𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙖 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙜𝙗𝙖𝙟𝙖 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙, the cradle and birth place of Politics in Enugu State. We the good people of Eke Town humbly appreciate, acknowledge you for having a good feel of your effective governance in a special way. It is kind and thoughtful of you for
the rehabilitation of AMA Brewery -Eke-Ezeagu road down to Olo Town. Recall, that was the road where the precious blood of three young persons were gruesomely spilled in 2022, which included a member of Eke Neighbourhood Watch Officer who was shot at the forehead at close range by an Officer of the Nigerian Army. Ever since then, the local Government took it personal to clear the shrubberies around the area and, now the State government through you is currently in serious rehabilitation of the road, and vehicles can move freely with no fear of kidnapping or robbery attack. This is a great gesture of effective leadership we must commend, keep up the good work His Excellency.
I, on behalf of the people of Udi North passionately and humbly implore on you Sir to extend the road rehabilitation project going on to 𝙀𝙠𝙚-𝙀𝙜𝙚𝙙𝙚-𝘼𝙛𝙛𝙖-𝘼𝙠𝙥𝙖𝙠𝙬𝙪𝙢𝙚/𝙉𝙯𝙚 𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙙 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙉𝙨𝙪𝙠𝙠𝙖 which is part of the areas where goods and services enters your state from Northern Nigeria to curb kidnapping activities. The road was built by HE Barr. Sullivan I. Chime, during his administration as the Governor of the State, but it has lasted for over 14 years. Some portions of the economic road is in dire dilapidation and now in serious need of attention from the State Government. There are lots of successive potholes on the road starting from Eke Town down, and the very bad nature of the road has made it a danger zone for the good people of your State, and a conducive environment for kidnappers. Evil happenings on the road has continued to make negative headlines on the news, lives are lost on weekly basis on the road due to kidnapping activities going on. Local Vigilante security network from the neighbouring communities and the security agencies has continued to do their best to ward off these bloodsucking demons, but they have continued to have their way, terrorising people, having successful kidnapping operations at anytime of the day. One of the major reasons behind this terror on the road is because of the bad nature of the road His Excellency. The big portholes forcefully compel the drivers to stop, and once vehicular movement is abruptly interrupted for slow or healthy passage it makes people vulnerable to fall to be preyed on by kidnappers, who usually hang around aiming at their targets. Even as I write to you now His Excellency, there was successful kidnapping operations few days ago where a man was kidnapped, and has not been found till the time of this report.
Please Sir, look upon us with mercy and come to the rescue of your people in Udi North. 𝙍𝙚𝙝𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙚, 𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙥𝙪𝙩 𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙙, making the people of the community to live in fear and danger of losing their lives. When cars are moving on a motion at certain speed limit in such lonely road, it will be difficult for those kidnapping demons to have their way easily. This will also help the communities Neighbourhood groups that conducts joint hourly patrol to have clear view of what’s happening.
At this juncture, I once again express my happiness towards the good job you are doing in the state, and encourage you to continue to work undistracted towards your agenda to create a state where security is assured, and lives and properties protected.
