The Rt Hon. Speaker Kebbi State House of Assembly Alh. Samaila Abdulmuminu Kamba has awarded scholarship to Law and Medical students in Dandi Local Government through his foundation known as Ganda Youth Mobilization Forum.
The Speaker, in his address lamented that the wisdom behind this initiative is to compliment the effort of His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kebbi State Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu in the development of education in the state. The Speaker who issued cash support to students in their hundreds has justified his reasons why priority to female amedical students. In his words ” any married man gets worried when his wife fall sick over who to examine her at the hospital. He said that the community in more in need of a female nurse to male.
The Sarkin Shikon Kamba. Alh. Mahmud Zarumai Fana commended the effort of the Hon. Speaker. He further called on the people in the area to emulate the Speaker by initiating foundations to support education Other distinguished personalities at the occasion include District heads, APC Chairman Dandi Local Government, politicians, Academicians and Directors from the state Ministry of Education.
