Kaduna State Governor, Malam Uba Sani, has approved the appointment of Ibraheem Musa, as his new Chief Press Secretary (CPS).

Ibraheem Musa replaces the former press secretary to the governor, Mohammed Lawal Shehu, who was elected as Soba Local Government Chairman.

In a statement by Fabian Anawo, Special Adviser to the Governor on Research, Documentation, and Strategy, the appointment was announced on Thursday and is effective immediately.

According to the statement, “Malam Ibraheem Musa is a seasoned journalist with over 30 years of experience. Prior to his appointment as CPS, he served as a Media Consultant to Governor Uba Sani. He also held the position of Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity in the previous administration.”

Musa’s career, as outlined in the statement, includes being the pioneer Editor of Blueprint Weekend Newspaper.

He also served as the Political Editor and a member of the Editorial Board at New Nigerian Newspapers and has worked for various other news organizations, including Hotline News Magazine, The Sentinel Magazine, Trust Newspaper and Blueprint Newspaper.
