President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed satisfaction with the urban renewal project embarked upon by Governor Nasiu Ahmed el-Rufa’i of Kaduna State.
He stated this in Zaria in continuation of commissioning projects executed by the state government in Zaria and Sabon Gari on Friday.
The President said that what he saw has convinced him on the foresight of Governor el-Rufa’i in his quest to transform Kaduna, Kafanchan and Zaria.
In his remarks, Governor el-Rufa’i said the visit and commissioning of some projects by Mr.President is a privillege.
Gov. el-Rufa’i used the occasion to appeal to President Muhammadu Buhari to visit Kaduna State again before the end of his tenure to commission more projects.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Chairman Kaduna State Council of Chiefs and Emir’s and Emir of Zazzau Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli thanked the President for his support to the ABUTH Shika which has now regained its status.
Emir Bamalli said during President Buhari’s last visit to the Palace the late emir made some requests of ABUTH intervention and problem of water which have all been addressed.
He equally appreciated the high support of Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Shamsuna Ahmed to the ABUTH .
Ambassador Ahmed Bamalli appealed to President Buhari to look into the issue of insecurity which is currently disturbing communities.
