Gombe Assembly speaker impeached
The speaker of the Gombe state House of Assembly Ibrahim Sadiq Abubakar has been impeached.
Shortly after, Abubakar Luggerewo, representing Akko Central, was elected and sworn in as the 7th speaker.
Also, the house impeached the majority leader, Samuel Markus.
He was replaced by Ladan Yerima, representing Kaltungo East Constituency.
