A delegation from Netdragon Websoft, a Chinese company with expertise in online gaming and mobile applications development, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr Xiong Li today paid a courtesy call to the Agency’s Corporate Head Office in Abuja in order explore possible areas of collaboration to promote ICT education. The team also invited the Agency to attend the commissioning of its Digital Classroom, donated to Pilot Secondary School, Abuja.
In his Remarks, the Director General of National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami FBCS, FIIM appreciated the team for the visit and initiative, which he described as a welcome development.
Dr Pantami stated that Capacity Building is among the key area of focus of the Agency under his stewardship, adding that “most of the youths in Nigeria are digital natives, Nigeria is a gateway to the African market”.
Pantami also added that “No Country can develop without promoting its indigenous content, our focus at NITDA is not to remain ICT consumers, but to consume what we produce. We are open to collaboration to achieve our Mandate”.
