Sabon Gari LG to benefit from ABU-UNDP interventions.
The Tohu Youth Development Centre in Sabon Gari Local Government will now serve as the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development to be run by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria.
Kaduna State Government has approved the request to use the centre which is equipped to provide entrepreneurship skills to youths in the area. The goal is to make the youth economically empowered, self-reliant, and productive in the society.
In a similar development, the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria has secured the approval of Kaduna State Government to take over the Kwangila Comprehensive Primary Healthcare Centre in Sabon Gari to be used for its community health nurses students’ practical.
While providing a place to train its nurses in community health, the measure will also provide health care service to the people of Kwangila and environ thereby improving access to healthcare services.
