
Citing reference to HopStop, an online city transit App owned by a Nigerian- born entrepreneur, acquired by Apple for a whopping $1billion, the Director General of National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami FBCS echoed a reminder of Nigeria being a safe haven for IT investments.
The DG called on investors to take advantage of Nigeria’s youthful population whom are ICT tech savvy , the Country’s hospitality and conducive business environment.
Dr Pantami made this known while welcoming delegates to the African Investment Forum, a networking and interactive session put together by NITDA as part of its activities at Gulf Information Technology Exhibition week (GITEX).
