Paradise is just the reward for doing so, to me it doesn’t seem the actual goal is to “know” Allah.
But then the question is how do you know an unknowable God, who is unlike all things, with no equal? Hmm interestingly enough He unveils parts of Himself a plan at a time.
In other words by what He has written for you to face, by where He has placed you in this moment, by the feelings you are having, by the successes and the difficulties this is how God speaks to you.
It’s sort of cute to think that God customizes the way He speaks to each person, its so personal.
Now if you believe that God’s plan always prevails then no matter what happens in your life on some level God is speaking to you directly through that.
You could not know His Mercy without falling, you could not know His Kingship without being needy, you could not know His Strength without being weak.
Everything that Allah makes is with purpose, so no matter where you are and what is transcribing in your life this moment is one written by your Lord.
If you put your attention to hearing what God is saying instead of trying to fast forward the pain you will find a deep guidance from Allah.
What if we made our goal knowing God, what if we made our goal listening to God, what if we made our goal loving God instead of always being so preoccupied with reward and punishment knowing that Allah created us to manifest His Mercy and Love that the purpose of our being created as stated by the Qur’an is: worship Allah, manifest His Mercy, and to be His representative of care on this Earth.
So what if we focused on living each step of this earthly journey from our present love of God not from our fear of punishment ♥️
