Katsina State Government has began the recruitment of 5,000 primary school teacher, the recruitment will be based on merit, devoid of sentiment including political affiliation.
In a statement by DG Media & Publicty said, the Chairman of the recruitment committee, Mustapha Inuwa, who spoke while monitoring the screening exercise in the state, yesterday, said every applicant for the job would be treated equally.
Inuwa, who is also the Secretary to the Katsina State Government, SSG, said: “The Katsina State S-Power Committee has began screening of 5000 candidates to be enrolled as primary school teachers.
The exercise is being conducted in 12 centres established by the main committee of the S-Power programme.
“We assured that all applicants would be treated equally irrespective of any affiliation. Let us also emphasize here that the S-Power programme would only recruit on merit”
“The screening exercise is meant to get those who qualify to teach in primary schools.”
