The Nigeria Internet Group (NIG), led by its newly elected President, Mr Destiny Amana today paid a courtesy call to the Agency’s Corporate Head Office in Abuja to solicit for collaboration in promoting internet usage in Nigeria.
NIG is an advocacy group and also a non-profit organisation founded in the year 1995 and has members drawn from both public and private sectors.
The group also used the opportunity to applaud the Agency for reviving its mandate and enforcing its regulatory role as the clearing house for all IT procurements in the public sector.
In his remarks, the Director General of National Information Technology Development Agency ( NITDA), Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami FBCS disclosed that the Agency’s doors are wide open to organisations aspiring to help NITDA drive its mandate.
