No fewer than 10 countries have indicated interest to participate in the 39th edition of Kaduna International Trade Fair holding in Kaduna from February 23 to March 4.
The Deputy President of Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture and Chairman, Trade Fair Committee, Alhaji Suleiman Aliyu disclosed this while briefing newsmen in Lagos.
The briefing was also attended by its President, Dr Muheeba Dankaka and other executive members of the chamber.
Companies from Turkey, Pakistan, India, Kenya, Egypt, Thailand, Iran, Niger Republic and Peoples Republic of China have also indicated keen interest to be part of the fair, he said.
The fair with the theme, “Promoting Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for International Competitiveness” would feature Business Roundtable on “Promoting Made in Nigerian Products for International Competitiveness.”
Aliyu explained that the theme was chosen to compliment the efforts of government towards revamping the economy to drive investments in agriculture, manufacturing, trade services and technologies.
President of KADCCIMA said adequate security and logistics arrangements had been put in place to ensure the success of the fair.
