The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and the Petroleum Equalisation (Management) Board today inaugurated a joint Committee between the two Agencies to foster ICT Innovation and Enterpreneurship for Interns of PEF.
The brief ceremony took place at the Corporate Head Office of PEF.
NITDA is to serve as the Chair of the Committee and charged with the responsibility of providing a Policy Framework aimed at driving the programme.
The Director General of NITDA, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami FBCS while making his remarks lamented at the high rate of unemployment and underemployment in the country which amounts to 43% of the whole population, and also called on more collaboration between Goverment Agencies to promote IT Innovation and Enterpreneurship
Pantami said collaboration is key, “Individually we are one drop of water, together we can become an Ocean”, adding that alone we can do little, together we can do more.
